UPS stands for [b:2f2a6379b0]U[/b:2f2a6379b0][/color:2f2a6379b0]ninterruptible [b:2f2a6379b0]P[/b:2f2a6379b0][/color:2f2a6379b0]ower [b:2f2a6379b0]S[/b:2f2a6379b0][/color:2f2a6379b0]ystem, which is applied to protect your computer or equipment when there is a power failure. Without UPS, for instance, once a blackout happens, your computer data will be lost because of power interruption. While if you installed a UPS, it will take over the city power and supply electricity power to your computer during a blackout.
It is similar to the function of emergency lights, but the technology is more advanced, the transferring is much faster, and the application is more widely. |
